Can I take an excedrin after a couple glasses of wine?

I had a few glasses of champagne and wine tonight since 6 at a dinner. Its now almost 12 and I have the WORST headache right now. I want to take an excedrin pm because thats all I have and don’t have advil or anything else at home right now. Is this going to be okay?

That should be fine. You shouldn’t take the meds with or withen the first hour of consuming alcohol. When people are talking about mixing drugs with alcohol they mean prescriptive or sleeping pills. I hope you feel better.

i cant tell you if its the smartest thing to do but i take excedrin before drinking because it has caffeine and the pain killers thin my blood so i get drunk quicker. ive been doing it for a good year now and im still alive so one night wont kill you.
