How do I find out when I entered a some data into microsoft excel?

I have entered some rows into excel with some contact details to an existing spreadsheet. Now I need to take the new ones out, how do it do this?

If you have not yet saved the file, you can undo the last 16 actions. Click Edit->Undo, or click the undo arrow on the toolbar.
If you have saved the file, this option is not available. Unless there is a date or a sequential number on each row, there is nothing you can do.

Hi Heidi, I’m sure that if you type your question into the help box, it will answer you better than I can, but what I have found is a great help with all kinds of different shortcuts is a little application called asap utilities. It is free to download and it just sits next to your help button until you need it. It has ‘hundreds’ of uses and shortcuts. I have to tell you I’m not related or employed by them but I use it loads and it saves so much time.
